Buy it run it ferget stroke.

Strokes use 6 bolt tq cnv....idi use 4 bolt....could work if you bought a new converter

Solenoid pack is different too.

If it were me, I wouldn't start taking apart a good running turbo idi with a d60 to keep other trucks on the road. Unless, the body is screwed.

Buy that truck, drive it u till the wheels fall off, keep looking for a transmission for your stroke.

a 3500 dollar "parts truck"?
sounds like a runner driver to me.
if youre gonna buy a parts truck, make sure its a ZF truck
d60's go for 700-1k, if thats what youre looking for.

you'll just need to swap converters.you can use the early solenoid pack by rewiring your trucks connector.you'll just have redundant diode protection.
that said, that's a bit much to pay for a parts truck.
