mine is stock except for the valve body mods. Still holding up at 34000 miles. Seems like some have a longer life than others.

235,000 on my '96 E4OD.

Straight piped with 4 inch exhaust.
Chipped
T-Springs & Valve

I have done a hell of a lot of pulling & racing with this truck. I just make sure the fluid & filter gets changed every 25,000 miles.

I made 103K stock except for a added cooler and that was with towing a 40' trailer. I had it rebuilt and added some mods. Hope to get more next time.

89,000 miles and it survived a dyno run that produced 523/1074. I do have a BTS T/C and Transgo shift kit hough. Still shifts clean and crisp.

My trans and TC are still stock at 107,000 miles. I have a few mods done and its still alive. I guess the question is how much does it like when the boost gauge is readin 40+, and for how long will it live? Only time will tell..........

I have 26,000 miles so far and shifting fine. Only thing thats been done is I changed the filter and oil at 20,000. I also had custom valve body work done at a local trans shop......;)

Only modification I had was Transgo shift kit and made it 83,000 miles before it started slipping bad enough for me to replace it. Think maybe once I went over 400 HP had something to do with it?

Rebuilt at 112K. Added a heavy duty torque converter, trans go shift kit, Tru Cool 4590 (rated at 28K) tranny cooler and magnefine inline tranny filter. Now 65K later all is still OK.
