The Chebby C5500's mirrors are excellent; that's about the only good thing about that battleship...I wonder how those would look mounted to a Ford door? LOL

We have a similar mirror on the Cascadia class Freightliners at work.

They are ok. The glass portion tends to get loose and the pivots wear out and loosen. :dunno Plus, you would have to wire up the remote functions which all go thru the body computer now. :rolleyes:

I like the ones on the Columbia class (ie, west coast style) much better!!!

I made the brackets based on F700 mirrors. They work very well and don't shake a bit. The only movement in them is the upper frame of the door flexing, not the brackets...:D

I am surprised that no one said the obvious small trailers is hard to back up. I would get a bigger trailer plus it would be handy.
Ain't that the truth. Anyone tried backing up a wood splitter? Roflmao
Or one of those front bumper hitchs would help.
Will those clipons work with the swing away mirrors?
Not completely sure on that. Maybe you could call and ask. But I'm sure someone makes them.

not really i can open the window to about 90 degrees cant go full forward to really push the air in but they still do a good job of venting

i couldnt get these mirrors to stop shaking thats the only reason i didnt transfer them to spike

oh and the dodge mirrors arent done yet that plate still needs finish welded and smoothed
