he said it is rated for 250,000lbs i think. it is heavy duty. you couldn't see the pig back there.

the lift is rated for 25,000lbs. the boom is rated for 35 ton deadlift.
sending that bigboy out is a slight case of overkill, must be a buddy of yours.

somewhere I have a pic of a one of those Smart cars hanging of the end of the boom of a 3 axle bigboy. It was the best solution for pulling the Smart out of a swiming pool without further damaging the walls.:D Now that is a serious case of overkill. My boss was not keen to the idea leaving it on the back of the boom for the ride back to the shop though(he has no sense of humor).
oh yea....
just for *****-n-giggles, change your fuel filter first.

i have no clue what is wrong with it. 2 weeks ago when it was in the 20's here it would start, run, then die in like 20 seconds, two days in a row. the prob went away and then on the way home when i shifted it would hold the rpm between shifts(felt kinda wierd). then i pushed the clutch in and saw the tach at 0 and thought my tach shorted again only to find that the truck wasn't running. it also had som "surging" issues on the way home. in second it was bucking rite after i left work.

i'm stumped. this is my first diesle. any ideas?
