Tips on IDing a transmission.

Trying to figure out what transmission is in my buddies fire truck, it is a 1965 IH R185 with a I6 gas engine... But I have yet to find any numbers on the transmission case, any ideas on where to look?
P.S. The shift pattern is goofy as hell to:
2 OD 1
| | |
----------
| | |
3 4 R

I found lots of options. Do you know what size the in lne 6 is?

What I have come up with so far is a T90.

Or a T19 but the shift pattern is way off from any T19 Ive ever seen

I thought the T19 was a 4 speed?

It is. I did lots of reasearch and found only two trannys for the truck you listed. This a scout right?

It belongs to a buddy of mine, he's debating between selling and scraping, it only has 87xx on it, but needs some TLC... If it gets scraped there are a lot of parts that will be pulled.

Well I cant really find anything man. There is a video on u tube of a resto but I didnt wathc the whole thing. WOW thats a lot of scrap!
