So I'm about to wire my 12v in-line fuel line heater. I want it to be on whenever I'm on my rear tank.

The question is - is the circuit open or closed when the rear tank is selected?

I could so this with a test light I guess, but I figure someone here might know...

I thought you were running the HotFox. Isn't it on all the time- I mean, there's always coolant flowing thru, where does the 12v come into play?

If I understand correctly, those silly troublesome electric fuel-selectors only have power DURING the switch from tank to tank, just like an electric two-speed axle.

Which is probably why the one under my truck looks like it's been there for 26 years :)

If not powered all the time, you'd think it would last...

So if this is the case, looks like I need to wire a toggle switch and just flip it on when I switch to my rear tank.
