Having a couple more problems beisde the hard starting.

My tach doesnt work correctly. It always reads zero, when revved really high it moves to 500rpm bu no higher.

What would I look at to fix it?

Also I have no taillights. I cant find a taillight fuse on the fuse pnal, is it a relay under the hood? There is no juice going back any of the wiring along the frame.

Check the tech articles at the top of the page for headlight mod.
Your tach sender is on it's way out?

the fuse for the taillights is in the panel to the left of the steering wheel. #4 fuse 15a. also check all the fuses as one may supply the tach with 12v. most likely the tach sender is shot. the stealership charged me $75.00 for a new one, but there are no aftermarket options:(
