Electric Brake controller I pulled form one of my trucks Works perfect and even has the FORD adapter hard wired right on the controller. It is plug and play.

Does that plug and play include for an '87?

As long as the 87 has the factory wiring harness for a trailer brake controller under the dash

Hmm... I honestly don't know if I do or not. It's an f350, but I don't know if I have anything for trailer brakes. Gotta go look...

The plug would be up over the trans tunnel and this would plug into it

Im pretty sure 93 or 94 was the first year they started installing the brake controller plug from the factory.
