That's interesting, but don't quite understand where the oil return is going into now.

the oil return tube goes in the back of valley pan behind the intake horn, where the bottom of the CDR would slip into on an N/A motor.

Are you saying, you didn't have a CDR right behind the intake horn? You plugged up the other (drain hole) with a plug?

Got so confused between laserjock, bike-maker and no-mufflers.

Here it is 1:20 AM, I'm tired after getting my tractor started, putting a new window motor in the daughters car, spreading some dirt, busting concrete off 5 4x4 fence posts. Amen.
