What is the stock tire size on the factory Alcoa rims? I am currently running 235/85-16 on my 6" wide steel wheels. I know the Alcoas are 7" wide. I'd like to stay with the 235/85-16 when I put Alcoas on as that is the same size as my trailer and it makes having a good spare easier.

Thanks

Check with the tire manufacturer that made the tires you are using/want to use. Oftentimes, a fairly-wide selection of rim-widths will work with a set of tires. Though if the rims are wider, in which direction(s) are they wider, is it in the back-spacing? If it is, is the additional width symetrical on both sides of the rim? After all that, you might want to check if there are any clearance issues with rubbing, I know one inch isn't that much, but by adding them to the front, you might find they rub while in full-lock one way or the other.

Ya, 235/85 was the stock tire size on almost all these trucks iirc. Even my 01 super duty had 235/85's stock
