Steering stabilizer recommendations?

Looking for a steering stabilizer for a KP 60 swapped truck. Looking at maybe this one.

Is the dual worth it or should I just stick with a single. Can't find a bilstein PN. [emoji53]

I though you were running a D60 on that truck? This one is a frame mount. If you're using a D50 TTB, it would be beneficial to get the bare stabilizers and seperate mount/clamp for the draglink, then make your own mount for the passenger TTB axle arm.

I had one on Bruiser's D44 TTB that I mounted one end through the passenger forward shock mount. But it's still just a band aid for worn steering components, unless you want them for cutting down on the jerking when you hit potholes and such.

It is a D60. Amazon said it was the right one for f350 4x4. Ill double check. Looks like the one I took off with the threads on both ends.

I think most companies have gone to bolting them to the frame with that fungly frame rail clamp bracket for a more universal fit. Would make more sense if the stabilizer was mounted on the axle tube on the same plane as the draglink.

On the 60, it bolts through a bracket on the pass side that is part of the axle housing and clamps to the Tie rod in the horizontal plane.

Do you mean the panhard bracket that's welded to the passenger side axle tube? I've never seen a bracket cast into the passenger side of the differential housing. I'll have to search this up and see how it connects. I always liked the idea of the bracket clamored on the axle tube with u-bolts (just a larger version of the bracket on the tie rod side).

On my KP 60, the bracket that locates the track bar on the pass side behind the axle, has a spot for the steering stabilizer on the front.

Not a great picture but if you look at this, the track bar goes to the bracket side pointing up and the stabilizer goes to the big round hole you can see below the tube on the pass side. The other end clamped on the tie-rod.

this is what I put on, went on in 20 minutes, and works great
yes its a SD design, but worked flawlessly.

I see.

It looks like your bracket is cast iron? I know mine is stamped. I'll have to see if mine has the same provisions next time I'm near the parts pile, lol.

No it's stamped on that side. The other side is a big cast bit. It's the plate the ubolts go through.
