Guys... Sorry you didn't read my postings some time back about tightening up these steering joints. The joint Towcat posted a pic of is what I have. At the bottom where the two shafts come together there is a plastic collar and inside that is a flat metal spring. Remove the shaft from the rag joint to the firewall and its an easy job. Any wrecking yard has these everywhere. I found several repair parts when I went shopping. I sometimes use the wrecked trucks to learn how something comes apart... That way if it breaks I'm out nothing but a learning experiance... Nobody watching either....
