This is my neighbor's truck, he needs a starter for this 2002 f550 auto tranny. I wonder if you use a new improved starter like on the idi's we use the "nippon something starter", do you recommend any? Also I have seen some on ebay that sale as starter rebuild kit, what do you guys think about that?

those starter rebuild kits are a joke--as its normally the armature that dies--and if not --the case windings--dont waste your money--
