+1 Resistance = heat
Problem is where the heat is!
Use an inferred temp. gun to diag.

Electricity travels on the surface of the copper strands. More strands is more better! Probably a practical limit at some point.

Not true for DC voltage. Strand count does little to nothing for conductivity. All it does is make it nice and flexible, which is a good enough reason for me to buy it in any case

Make sure you run the welding cable through something else to keep the oil, diesel and any other chemicals off of it Cuz it will not stand up to it for long... think about what would happen if the cables shorted to ground and welded it's self to something while both batt.'s were fully charged?
