when i turn the key the wts lite comes on

i can hear the glow plugs cycling, i have lites and volt meter reads fine

when i turn the key, i have to slam the clutch down to the floor for it to start

i have to put all my weight into the clutch for the truck to start

not enough weight on the clutch, nothing, like the starter is not engaging, it act like the truck is dead

but slam clutch to the floor and starts fine

po says its been like that for a long time, is there a sensor that is failing, starter wire, he says there is a piece the cluth pedal engages that broke and he had welded, it fixed it for a while, but it must have broke again i guess or is he full of beans???

your guys input would be much appreciated thanks

sounds like the cutch safety switch is bad so your sayin it wont turn over till you slam the clutch pedal down correct?

there is a switch under the dash that the clutch pedal enguages when it is pressed all the way daown it either should be replaced or the two wires shall be cut and butt connected together thus bypassing the switch i cannot tell you where its exactly at or the color of the wires because its been awhile since i been under my dash just make sure your not touching the switch on the brake pedal

its all in the cab under the dash. the switch is attached to the clutch pedal push rod. I am going to bypass mine with a switch so i can disable my truck so it wont start. Just remember if you bypass it the cruse control will not turn off with the clutch
