Do not remember whom but there was a member lookimg for a seat recline release lever for a splined setup.

I removed one tonight and have it here...dark out will take pics tomorrow.

Mine is splined to and think its a match for yours.

Pay postage its yers.

Looks like it's keyed like the T-Bird levers I bought

Notice mine doesn't have a boss in the splines to locate the lever any specific direction.

Think my best bet is to mod the T-Bird levers I pickled up with the die grinder. I very much appreciate it though!

No I do not notice...seeing I cannot see the whole spline ...

Try windo crank....could try help section at auto parts store

I couldn't get an angle that would show the whole thing like I wanted, but it's the same all the way around. First thing I did was try a window crank handle. It's splined the same, but turns out it's a little bigger than the window crank

Take a look at a custom van supplier. We had a custom van in the 80's that had that type of recliner lever. I would point you in the direction of a couple of custom van shops that were around where I grew up..... but they closed in the 90's.....

Look in the Elkhart, Indiana area, most Custom Vans, RV's and Mobile Homes in the US are made in Elkhart.........

I have also found a supplier online, but they lack descriptive details. I may call them and ask about the part number that I found that may be it. Although since the T-Bird levers were cheap and a matched set with hardware, I'll probably take the die grinder to them first as an experiment. If they work than I'll close the book on it and use them.

Ya I was about to recommend a dremel or die grinder with a burr.
