It worked fine before I switched the transmission and replaced the cable.
Before I go to the trouble of dropping the driveshaft, so that I can run the transmission in high gear while I watch to see if the speedometer drive is turning, I think that I will hook a drill to the end of the cable to see if it works at that end of things.
Will the drill need be ran forward or reverse??
If it functions with the drill, then, that means that the transmission shop didn't get the speedometer drive gear installed correct,(it is a new gear) right??
