spare tire carrier

my truck is missing the spare tire carrier. i have no idea what is supposed to be there. from what trucks can i rob the set up from, ie- f150s.

IMHO, i would just throw it in the bed of the truck. the stock set ups arent exactly the best and usually rot out, break off and dont wanna work when needed.

that has been mentioned all ready. i could get away with that some of the time, but during deer hunting i have a 5 1/2 hour trip up north with a slide in camper, which would not work so well. iw ould rather have it somewhere i dont have to move around all the time.

i see, i see. i would like to try to retrofit a newer style carrier with the "winch" that lowers the tire down with the jack arm instead of the tried and true long screw that usually rusts fast of breaks off or falls down while driving

i have two of them that you could have but live in vegas but yes one from a f150 and even a bronco would work as well iv been down this road before which is why i have extra's
