Spare rim/tire assembly

I'm new to the site and looking for some help. I need a spare tire for my '05 F-550...nothin fancy, steel ,used etc. Any ideas where to look?

welcome to the site
you have two choices on sourcing.....one the dealer the other is a wrecking yard. '99-'03/4 uses one design wheel and the newer model uses a conpletely different wheel. By casual inspection they look the same until you try bolting up the wheel. The bolt pattern is different I'm a pretty consistent customer with a local heavy truck wrecker and they do cut me a little slack, so if you can't find one, they will have one. problem is shipping is going to be brutal.

99 to '04 is an eight lug wheel. '05 and up are 10 lug wheels on 450 and 550's

Towcat, Keith, truck is an '05 19K GVW, 10 lug.
Towcat, I just had a 16" 14 ply trailer tire/rim assembly shipped from Ohio to here in Maryland...$35. Can't find anything here.

Wes, sounds like your best bet is to keep looking at wrecking yards. Just make sure that it comes off of 05-07 truck. Don't know if anything changed on the rims for '08.
