I thought about buying seconds but as many of You I did not like the warranty they come with. The other day I had to take one to My local truck store and they exchanged it on the spot no questions asked, I figure they'd be hard pressed to exchange one of them blems.

All group 31s will have the same case size so...

More thinner plates gives you more cranking amps but less reserve capacity and less amp hours

Less plates but thicker plates to make up that same space inside will give you less cranking amps but more reserve capacity and more amp hours.

The thicker plates also hold up to vibration and heat better than thinner plates.

Optimas actually have a slightly smaller case which comes to be very handy when dealing with the van...

Anyone know where to get discount Optimas?
