Slow braking at idle

While I drive an AT with both feet I realize most don't do this. If you are surprised by low braking effect due to low vacuum (worn pump. leak, etc.). Try this. Slip into neutral, push on brake with left foot and gun the gas with right. Speeds up vacuum pump and greatly increases stopping power. Worked for me until I could replace pump. Enjoy.

Errr. Or you could drive properly . If I need throttle and gas at the same time, heel and toe while breaking the rear end loose coming into the corner.

Seriously. That's's a good tip to get to where you need to be to fix your truck.

Thanks, that's only time I needed it-now going hydroboost anyhow.
