slippage in rear

I have a 1998.5 3500 Dodge Dually Ram, 5.9 24 valve cummins engine, Spicer DANA 80 rear with 4:10 ratio;Sweet;Sweet..........it's slipping on initial take-off -cuss.......what's wrong and how do I correct this?

Are you saying that you are slipping the tires or the rear end is slipping? Can you describe it a little more....

yeah I never did ever figure out why the rear tires on the Dodge wore out so quickly compared to the IDI I had...

I agree check your u-joints. Also does it have limited slip? If so you could try adding some limited slip additive, I do believe the factory calls for some. I would change out the fluid if you add the additive - what's a better time.
