Skip problem and still brake issue

Ok,as you all know I got the E back with a dead pump and had it up and running real good with a stock used pump and G codes.Well,I was totally un-satisfied with the lack of power(Uh oh here we go! :rotflmao ) so I stuck the stage 1 injectors and turbo spec pump in.Now I have a dead skip.At idle it is noticable but not hugely bad.At 1000-1800RPM is is pretty bad and you can hear it out of the turbo(down pipe not hooked up....HACK HACK dang she smokes if you frog the go lever! cookoo ).But I cracked all the injectors and every one did the same thing.Lost some RPM and the engine stumbled and there was a red trickle:)flipa) so there was fuel at the injectors.I checked the timing and it is close enough at 9.0 degrees.

Now on to the brakes.
I am thinking I got a bad Master Cylinder.I took the E to a mechanic to have the brakes pretty much rebuilt. They had to replace every line from midship back plus one wheel cylinder on the back(Bleeder broke off),Passenger side caliper on the front(froze up but they got the drivers side to finally work),and the master cylinder(would lose pressure.Internal bleed off). Now I have brakes but it takes over half a pedal to grab and then I have the stopping distance of an overloaded freight train. The pedal is pretty soft but not spongy and doesn't bleed off.Is there an adjustment for the pedal travel?Did I get a bad MC(WHOO HOOO,Life Time warr deal!).

You provably know this but if the MC is not bleeding internally and someone did your brakes (rear), for what You say it could also be as simple as the rear brakes needing adjustment. Get a screw driver and turn the gear (from inside) inside the drum until You feel it is getting tight, do not go too far or thing are going to get HOT. Anyway that could be the problem.

thanks....I forgot about these things being manual adjustable.......Betcha that is what it is since the friction material is about gone(1/4 of the material left). This will give me a reason to clean out part of the back seat.....I think I left those shoes in there.......

Call Ken. One of those injectors is most likely a leaker.

Well,That is the thing,There is no fuel knock like a leaker.Just a miss like no fuel or not enough.....I am thinking air pocket or leak/restriction.Even though I can't find a leak.

While this ain't IDI related directly it really makes me want to drive mine......Found out my 2006 Ford Ranger has a built in Engine brake last night.I hit a hill where the Fuzz Strategically placed a speed zone.65MPH going up,at the very top it goes to 55 and the second you hit the bottom 45MPH(Gee,could they have made any more obvious speedtrap!).Usually I have to brake going down the back side since they usually sit at the bottom trapping people.Well,I turned on MY AC last night comming down the back side and I felt the truck slow down substacially......So I left it on and slowed 20MPH at the bottom.......Man,talk about a Guttless wonder truck I have.....
