I just installed my aftermarket oil pressure sender on Wednesday. Against my better judgement, I teed it into the oil feed line on top of my banks turbo. All worked well until today when the brass fitting let go and dumped oil all over my turbo. I know, I know, I should have known better than use a brass fitting.
Here is the deal, I really don't want to lose the factory dummy gauge. I want them both to work. Redundancy in the system is better if you ask me.
Who has done this successfully and how did you make it work reliably long term. Wat port did you tap into.
I have a banks sidewinder turbo also.
Thanks
Chris
