I never realized that Mercury actually made trucks. Seems they were a Canadian thing from what I found on a quick search on google.

She's a purdy one!

She sounds good as well.... oh how I miss the sound of a inline...

Is there any difference between the Ford 350 and Mercury 350? Is it a "nicer" interior..... you know like the Mark LT was just an really fancy F-150?

I took my ford and made mine into a merc. There is the hood emblems and side emblems. I used my custom cummins emblems for the side. I think that most of the mercs were two tone with lots of chrome and whatnot. I dont know about the interiors but there was a lot of packages from plain to fancy. I just like to here the people start arguments over there never being a mercury truck. I have seen them from 39 up till 68 when they quit making the merc version. If I can find a tailgate I will make my 68 lowrider into a merc too.

Greg,

A very cool truck!!!!!! I like the older body styles..... My all time favorite is the 79, followed by the "slant nose" 83-86. (first truck was an 83), and a very close third is the 99-04 SD.... (I dont like the 05-07 grill (I know, against the norm)).

I get 19-20 on the Interstate empty running 70-75 which is between 2000 and 2200 rpm.
I get 12-15 towing the TT.
It gets 15ish in the winter on winter mix fuel.....
It has the 6.0L with the Torqshift 5 speed auto. It is 100% stock, the only mod is a FUMOTO Oil Drain valve.
