I just ran across this on Craigslist and I want some opinions on it. sounds too good to be true. https://augusta.craigslist.org/pts/d/1989-superduty-f450/6637865970.html
he says that the engine has been rebuilt and he has done this to it:
1/2 Crank bearings, crank seals, connecting rod bearings, piston rings, cylinders we're honed, valve seals, and seatet valves, head gaskets, ect. I do have p2/2 ics of the build. Shoot me an offer.
1/2 Not sure. 130ish I was gonna replace it. I do have it though. It has injectors and glow plugs but not sure of condition. I do have extras laying around I2/2 'll throw in.I rebuilt block and heads and ended up buying a wrecker. So this build got cancelled. Now I'm moving. So it's all gotta go.

he says he will let it go for 300

Sounds fair. these things aren't worth much in parts or on craigslist(especially anything with issued. Pristine running rigs are worth something). $300 sounds fair.

Just picked up an '85 F-250 extended cab 4x4 with 4-speed and Hypermax turbo for $370, with the problem being a failed oil cooler.

Earlier, I picked up an '87 F-350 CC with a rebuilt 7.3 and C6, ATS Turbo, 12 foot flatbed for $600. The problem? Bad ring gear, and a leaky power steering hose.

For 300$ I couldn’t hook to my trailer fast enough. I messaged a local guy recently for a similar truck listed for 1000$ asking if he’d take 700$ or part out. Figured I could pull the hydroboost then make my money back
