Ummm what’s a “c350”? I’ve ver heard of bottom out springs? Are you talking about the flat bottom leaf or the top over load spring? I’m gonna say it. If you don’t know this basic stuff should you really be swapping axles? Might want to stop asking AI anything. Delete the app and go out and get some experience. Didn’t you take it apart to see how it was before?
Are you okay? Did that hurt? Or are you not able to see how badly you humiliated yourself in your knee-jerk rush to berate and troll someone you obviously know absolutely nothing about?
In case you weren’t aware, that’s exactly what you did.
Your posture implies you are some sort of all knowing expert in all things OBS diesel, but how can that be if you are so woefully ignorant of the Centurion modifications?
Here, let me help cure you.
Ford started the modifications in 1972 in Australia, then early 1980’s in America, as a way to introduce model variations without having to create a new assembly line.
This was to obviously address the perceived needs of consumers as quickly and economically as possible. (i.e. the Bronco II wasn’t selling in America, the AUS farmers needed a full-size powerful SUV, or they were testing retirees tastes for RV set-ups.
Why did they stop? Regulations tightened for vehicle manufacturer’s modifications which eliminated that venue for manufacturer testing.
Of note, when they stopped the modifications, they also stopped making Bronco’s, and started making Expeditions and Excursions.
Excursions were not finished in yellow as test groups overwhelmingly mistook them for school buses.
There you go, ignorance cured, your welcome!
As for the rest of the content of your diatribe, I find it fascinating how some folks feel so justified belittling someone they have never met, never spoke to, and know absolutely nothing about.
I know, you couldn’t help it, that crushing desire to castigate another human, for some poor wretched people that’s the only way they can feel better about themselves, all they have to do is ignore the reality that they only indite themselves as a lowlife internet bottom feeding troll.
Before I retired, I owned and operated businesses in four states over the last 35 years, I’ve been interviewed on local news stations multiple times, both for my subject expertise, and business integrity, just because I did what was right at the time, long before the cameras showed up and at a great personal cost that I just accepted as a business loss, which allowed authorities to shut down a multi-state fraud ring after I gave them a very comprehensive write-up.
I’ll probably never mention that again, as I was just doing my job as I saw fit. My real pride are all the people that I worked with, who were able to support their families, and advance their careers.
I hope some day you’ll actually accomplish something noteworthy all by yourself, perhaps then you’ll stop spewing hate and vitriol at every opportunity.
