48 hours later,...

It Worked! I took pics as I pulled it out, and it looks great. It was hard to see in the first pic but there was a lot of rust on the DP and now it is about spotless. Even where the seam is in the nooks and crannys all very clean.

Looks like the bar took all of the rust!
