Running on oil

So can I run 100% used oil. Do i need to heat it. I am about to have an 89 1.6NA and I would love to run it on 100% used motor oil.

Putting used engine oil in a fuel injection system is a recipe for eventual disaster. Used oil contains soot,carbon and metal deposits. Diesel fuel injections systems must be kept as clean as possible for optimum performance. Using clean oil is fine. I use a pint of unused 15/40 or 2 cycle mixed with PS Diesel Kleen on every fill up in my truck.

i wouldnt run off 100% wmo it will make it hard to start in the morning.

may want to keep a spare fuel filter in the car.

look up the systems to run WVO and that is basically what you will want to run WMO. WMO is more forgiving as far as temperatures go but you will still not want to be starting on it.
