I do this kind of thing every day at work, it just takes patience and sometimes you need to think outside the box....Up here we see a lot of corrosion related wiring issues so you spend a lot of time trying to find/correct them. Winter is almost here and this is what I will spend my days doing shortly....

Quick question, were is the best place to get a Crank position sensor?

Ford -they have the best price. Alot of the time the CPS is not the issue (wiring or PCM) from what I've seen but they do go. The 466 and 530 are known for CPS issues as well.
