ok so heres my results after putting on my turbo and intercooler
max boost=4
egts never saw past 900 so i guess i can turn the fuel up another flat
the trucks alot more powerful now i coulndt be happier with how she drives now its not a slug anymore and i dont have to stomp on it to get here going anymore
i know i have a small boost leak because one of the litle ruber boots for the intercooler has a cut in it but nothing to bad im going to replace that this week and theres not so great of an intake but any reason for only 4 pounds of boost??? that doesnt seem right to me at all shoulndt i be getting closer to 8psi??
but overall im really happy with this setup and i can roal coal throught the entire rpm range if i stomp on it
hopefully build a nice intake sometime this week if i get a chance weel see

EDIT: im thinking of wrapping my up pipes i know that will help it spool faster but are there any cons for doing this on a daily driver?
such as water getting trapped and rusting the pipes out??

A little boost leak can lose alot of boost...don't be surprised if, when you replace the boot, that your numbers go up.

i know but i didnt think it would loose THAT much boost
oh well im happy with it now assume there be even more power when that leak is gone

more fuel = more boost. to an extent anyways. i just turned my fuel up a little after my turbo and maxed about 12 lbs. I never saw over 800 degrees so I maxed out my pump. Now I get about 16 lbs if I stand on it. I know every setup is different but with an intercooler you should definitely be fine maxing out a stock pump.

obviously you'll want to fix that leak first though. that'll make a huge difference. I had a preturbo exhaust leak on the up-pipe that was costing me a couple pounds.

have my pump turned up around 3 flats as of now probally going to bumb that up next time im off work
i think i might have a small leak in one of my uppipes to because i dont have the bolt to hold the top peice in

tailgate came down on me and then she started idling at 1600 rpm oopsss

Ic will drop the boost numbers some too. Boost leak and clogged filter with hurt too

i dont know it was raining so i coulndt really look
ill check it out tomarow after work tho
but that started when i turned into my drive way truck bogged down real bad dropped to 400rpm and started fluxating ok easy one flip to the other tank full tank and let it idle for 5minutes still 1600 i know thats plenty of time to put fuel back in the system
1600 just dont seem right..

i know an intercooler will take some boost but i dont think it would drop it to 4
anybody else on here have the new hypermax turbo if so would you mind telling me what kind of numbers your getting please

ok guys went and checked it out (rain stopped) no throttle cables not stuck so pump cant be putting out more fuel as id tend to think although it could?
maybe my fuel gauge is off and im lower than i think but that woulndt make it idle like that would it??
should i try dumping half a bottle of diesel kleen in the tank to see what that dose
idk what to do here?? help
