Hi guys , first post so go easy on me.
Got a 94 F350 IDI turbo , had this a couple of months , would rattle my teeth out when shifting gears , saw a faint light on the gear shifter , turns out the previous owner or trans shop covered the light with some tape , removed this tape to find an annoying bright flashing light
, adjusted FIPL on IP for 1.1 volt idle/4 volt full throttle , dissconnect batteries to reset codes & went for a drive
, couple of days later the trans started shifting harsh & the light was back on..........cleaned all connections to multiplugs on either side of trnny & checked for good wireing @ bulkhead connector , tach/speedo is not moving around erraticly , decided to check FIPL again today & all is good , disconnect batteries (three) for 10 minutes , connect batteries back up & i still have the OD light flashing as soon as i start the truck , i thought it would @ least clear the code & if anything would stay off for a couple of days , i'm stumped , i did notice the tach wires coming out of sender have bare wires going in to sender , but i made sure these were'nt touching each other till i pull the sender & sort them out.
Sorry for long post but i can't find anything in search that had the problem whereby the codes would'nt reset when hooking batteries back up.
Thanks in advance.
