Rear exit exhaust

When I installed my 38 gal tank I had to cut the over axle part of the exhaust off. It doesn't seem like theres much room to fit a pipe through there. Has anybody managed to fit a 4-5in exhaust back there or should I just not worry about it and have the exhaust exit in front of the rear tire

It looks like for the most part It dropped right in. I didnt really see where he had to modify anything. He did the bronco tank the 38 gal tank i have is deeper i dont know if that difference would cause any problems

The 38 gallon tank is the upgrade tank for the bronco. F26e
