Now the work begins in ernest. Finished up (pulled the pin) from my employer Friday, now the preparations for our extended road trip around Australia.
Started on the a/c system. Being a retired ambulance it has a separate "under dash" type system mounted in the rear. The rear system has always worked 90% better than the front. Cleaning the externals first but I wonder if a rebuild of the whole system would be worthwhile ie compressor, receiver drier etc should sort it out. Heating is not a requirement in Australia so I removed the heater core. Why would anyone make cool air have to push through a heater core before it enters the passenger area ?

Well the left rear wheel bearing is done, a few weeks back. Had to buy the socket to tighten the spindle nut along with borrowing a reverse tension wrench.
