My vote is replace the lift pump. About $35.00 Just remember to use a mirror to look in the hole to get the cam lobe on the high side. Then slip the pump arm in and tighten the bolts. I'm using an electric lift pump and I'll never go back to a mechanical unit. OkieGringo

Changed the fuel filter lately? I was experience the same thing, and well i changed it and my truck is a whole new truck. I replaced the filter with a Fram PS 6643 it fits if you remove the passenger side bolt, turn it at an angle and reinstall bolt. Its like 24 bucks for filter/serperator.
