Rad cap pressure.

What pressure is the rad cap on a 7.3IDI??? Mine is sold old and rusted I can't read it. My rad is starting to leak so it's time for a re-core job or a retrofit to the aluminum E350 PSD rad I have here....Something tells me I have PSD rad here from a 96 F350 too.....Must look now...

They did vary from year to year and were either 7# or 13#

Old cooling system logic dictates go with the 7 lest you blow the seam out of the old rad tank or other tired old parts
Personally I run a zero pressure cap and Evan's waterless coolant

Mine is full of the old school green stuff...Not sure where the rad leak is but the rad is due for a re-core. I was hoping to wait until spring so I could put in a new rad support and kill two birds with one stone.
