I havent tore into my motor but i have a knock. It only started a week after i put my trubo on or that when i noticed it. In only pushing 6psi and a did turn it up some runs great but im wondering if by putting the turbo on it needs to be retimed? If not i guess ill be pulling the more would like to freashen it up anyway. Will be doing some upgrades if i can.

If you can post a video that would help a lot.

Did you turn up the fuel screw?

Its hard to hear the knock on camera and i turn it up two flats. Anymore seams to be to much rolling coal on acceleration just alittle.

Video would still be helpful..

My banks system says 1 flat. What system did you put on it?

Could be a bad valve that decided it had enough, bad lifter, bad cam, bad injector.....

So you cracked/tightned them one by one and the noise went away with all of them??

Sounds like maybe your injectors can't handle the pump being turned up..

That won't make it knock........
It won't need retimed for the turbo persay, but it is totally possible you already needed retimed....

Hmmm sounds just like mine, except I have more valve train noise...

Mine comes and goes, some days it's really predominant and others I don't hear it at all. Lots of blowby too but doesn't use a ton of oil, leaks more then uses I think..

Pretty sure I've got a burned valve causing mine as one hole is cooler than the others.
