will they fit and can it be done? I have to rebuild or get a new turbo and they seem ridiculously priced. I have noticed though that every time Im searching for 7.3idi garret turbo I’m getting a ton of early Powerstroke turbos popping up and they are a quarter of the price. Anyone have any input?

It's not a bolt in swap and requires a bunch of fab work. It's been done, Google is your friend. Again lots of fab work. The guys that have done it seem pleased though.

Last I checked you could get an entire CHRA for $600, that's not terribly expensive... assuming a rebuild it's probably cheaper unless your wheels are toast.

These guys all do quality turbo rebuilds plus extras, and are members here.
