The truck is getting the Allison trans stuffed into it and that trans might get me interested in more power later down the road. So the $307 pickle engine is a back up for some time down the road and is not going to get fired without a rework first.
Currently the engine is in the back of the 6.9 truck strapped to a pallet, a pillow over the intake, under a tarp that is held in place with chain for the weight.
I could get real lazy and just pour a 5 gallon bucket of diesel into the intake manifold.
That might make a real mess when I tear it down to stuff it into a barrel.
