Oops That has happened to every single radiator I’ve ever come in contact with. If it isn’t leaking leave it and never touch it again. Pull the lower horse. If it is leaking and you can’t get a tools of some sort in there it might just be time for a new radiator.

IDIBOBS is right, every single one does it, sometimes just by looking at them wrong. Hopefully you can get a wrench or visegrip on the hex and take the rest of the valve out. I typically replace them with a pipe elbow and ball valve that makes coolant changes a breeze.
