Parting out an 86 DRW!

Well, the swap is going to get underway this weekend. Thanks for all your help and if anyone has anymore advice please don't hesitate to let me know.

So, I have an 86 F350 DRW Regular cab that I will be parting out. I want it out the door as fast as possible. I will be using the motor and any attached parts for the motor. Aside from that, let me know and we'll see if I don't need it. Here's an overall pic of the truck.

im interested in the moon shade if its got the lights in it, and all the diesel and XL or XLT emblems. Does it have a tach in the gauge cluster? I've had dibs on a few clusters but always end up loosing them.

I'll check on the tach. The visor does not have lights, there are cab lights. I will hold the guage cluster for you. No problem!

Cool, can I have the emblems too? I'll take all of them if you dont want them. We have 3 of the older trucks here and only my low mile one has the emblems on it anymore. I sent you a PM as well, I'd be interested in some body parts, but shipping would kill. How much would you want for the visor anyway. I'll look into grafting my own lights into it maybe. I dont know. Let me know how much for the stuff when you get it all figured out.

Sure looks like a nice rig. Maybe you could work out some type of trade with someone with a good 6.9/7.3 or some other parts you might be interested in.

How rusty is the body? Are the dually fenders in nice shape? Is the rear end limited slip? What gears?

I think someone was looking for a grill guard in the marketplace a few days ago.

On another note, if your not planning to do any 4 wheeling with your bronco, maybe you could move your dually front and rear axle assemblies into your bronco. I always thought a dually bronco would be unique...impracticle, but neat. You might even come out ahead of the game in terms of mileage if you replace the weight of the 4x4 with the weight of the heavier axles. I remember a fellow a few years back who used a Scout Traveler with a pickup top for a tow vehicle for his fifth wheel. It looked awkward, but could he ever maneuver that thing with that short wheelbase. I bet you'd have all the holes in your bronco chassis for the 2wd front as well. Sorry for the off topic conversation.

17701 is the zip. I am planning the tear down this weekend, as I have received an offer for the whole truck, minus the motor, not sure if I can go that route. I would trade the truck for a decent motor, but I also know this motor, this was my brother-in-laws truck and I knew how well he took care of it. Plus, I plan on a rebuild and I would have a great motor then. I am working on more pics for ya'll. Stay tuned.

The trans is a 4 speed manual. Not sure exactly which trans it is. Not sure of the gearing either.

Well according to mapquest its a straight shot out Rt 80 for me. Only 3 1/2 hours, lol. If you decide to sell the bed how much do u think you would be asking??

what color interior does it have? I forgot my brother is in need of door panels for our grandpas truck restoration. Ours got all busted up in the rollover. And what about the dash panels, depending on if they are the correct woodgrain we'll want those too. But I think the 86's had a red or purple colored woodgrain. I guess get pics of it and that way I can see what you've got and make better decisions on what we want from it. Like if it has a nice rubber floormat we'll want that too.

The project has begun, so I am expecting an offer on the truck tomorrow. If I don't get a good offer I am parting it out. For the most part things are in decent condition. The interior is blue. The bed is in decent shape, minor dings and scratches, some rust, but could easily be fixed. I don't have any clue how to price any of this stuff, so offers would be best.
