okay rally help!

i'm bringing a camper to camp with for the first time. what do i need to bring on a camping trip. the camper will be for strictly sleeping in as none of the appliances are there/or work. no bathroom or shower to be used. (really rundown on the inside) i am getting a spare tire around, and either repacking or replacing the wheel bearings. i have chairs, food-hamburger and hotdogs plus condiments and utensils, blankets, sheets, pillows, iron and pans to cook over fire. also a grill in case it rains we can still have food. can bring firewood if necessary. plenty of cottonwood logs cut down a couple years ago. fire ring, and oh and toiletries and the such.

i dont want to get down there and forget something big or a bunch of small things and buy it down there.

Two rolls of toilet-paper and a clean pair of drawers should be all you need for anything less than a weeks duration.

You're pretty much using it for a roof, so it shouldn't give you much trouble. A roll of Eternabond in case that roof springs a leak. you can even apply it while its raining Don't forget insect repellant

Definitely some way to keep that food cold...food poisoning at the rally would be a bummer. Capt. obvious though.

First thing after setting up camp always involves a trip to the closest WalMart. Everybody always forgets something.
Don't fret about what you will forget. Relax, make do and enjoy yourself. This is a vacation, and supposed to be fun.

Get one of those big $5 styrofoam coolers to use as your ice box. They work great for keeping stuff cold. They don't last too long, and are not real durable, but if you put a whole bag of ice in there, most of it will be there the next day.

Pack the wheel bearings and make sure the tires are good. I'm plannin on new tires on mine before we leave, not what I want to spend money on right now but I'd rather not have a blowout.
Dont worry you will forget somthing, thats the fun in a camping trip

two plastic dish pans and teapot to heat water for washing dishes. two coolers one for food one for drinks. ziplock bags and garbage bags are campers friend. two burner camp stove can be found at yardsales or fleamarkets. awning or canopy for protection from rain or sun. fans it get hot in campers. extension cords come in very handy. mat to wipe feet in front of camper and broom and dust pan. all i can think of for now. joe

You really don't have to worry about packing food and ice down here. I'd recommend just buying that when you get here. Wally World and Kroger's Grocery (closer) are not far.

Also.... YOU CANNOT BRING FIREWOOD....because of the infamous "Ash-Borer" bettle scare. I'm bringing a huge amount of firewood for all to use. It will be stacked behind my lodge. Take as much or as little as you need.

Bring a FAN!!! Trust me........it's HOT and HUMID in Kentucky.

Bring a few tools........you just never know.

ON EDIT; NO need for TP.........the bathhouse will have plenty! Also.....don't forget about a 20$ wrapped gift for the "Chinese Grab Bag" game!

well were just bringing hamburgers and brats as i just bought a quarter of beef and have like 25 packages of eight burgers! and mark raises hogs so there is lots of pork.

Don't forget some way to level the trailer You can use a couple of 2x10's long enough to fit under the wheels(single or tandem axles). Also some (if the trailer is not equipped) sort of stabilizer jacks to keep it from bouncing while you walk around inside. Also wheel chocks of some sort. A fan if no AC. trailers can get VERY stuffy in the night. Elec. cord to plug in the trailer for lights and such. A jack to lift the trailer in case of a flat.Correct lug wrench too.
