I am pretty sure the gauge I got is an electrical one but where is the sender on the back of the engine?

Yep, right behind the intake inlet, You'll have to pull the air filter housing, it is also behind the CDR that connects to the intake.

Also I read that electric sender will last a short time because of the engine vibrations, what I did was connect a hydraulic hose (Thank You Travis) to a T (I let the stock gauge still functional) and this house connects to the sender which is mounted somewhere on the fender about level with the outlet off of the engine.

The sending unit is probably 1/8" npt, you should be able to get a tee at any hydraulic house, brass or steel will work fine.
