Oil leak!!!! Bad CDR?

There's always lots of oil in the intake of these things. It's fine. I used red RTV on my snail, let it setup for an hour before tightening the bolt down. I can't remember how hard that is to get off without an intercooler but I recall it was a pain.

you can get a new square cut oring for that, and install it without pulling anything it takes some practice, but you can fish the oring under the hat after removing the center bolt. yet it only picks up a little bit but it is possible.

Yup pullin that turbo is a real PITA. I would try and fish a new square cut o ring in there. I have my doubts that silicone will hold unless you take it all apart clean it apply and let dry.

Yeah you gotta get all the oil out for rtv to work.
