Unknown if has turbo pistons n su h but these engines respond well to adding a turbo. Also they do not usually have issues with reliability unless you are pumping head lifting boost

I have a uhaul reman sitting here I could pull the header off and send it. It would be the correct part as it is one for the IH truck. I bet someone tried to put on a 12 pitch filter once and effed it up.

Problem with assuming all the internals are actually turbo specific is at best a guess. Only way to know for sure is to open the block and see the size of the piston wrist pins. Stock is 28mm and turbo is 32mm. Another way to recognize a turbo block is all the oil passage way port will be a 1/4 inch pipe plug size and the non turbo blocks are all 1/8 inch plug size.
Sorry it took so long for me too get back to you guys. Worked it some more and took a wire brush and some carb cleaner and cleaned the threads real good. Oiled the threads and seal real well and she went on like butter all the way. I really appreciate the help. You guys saved me alot of money and time

I always like these threads because of the positive outcomes. I'm glad you got it all sorted.
As far as turbo'ing, even the N/A blocks are perfectly fine to turbo. It will make it much more pleasurable to drive, although it still will be slow. IMO, for a food truck, I would just leave it N/A, more simple and less to go wrong. But, I wont talk you out of a turbo either!

If it indeed a turbo block that is good. The real way to know if it has turbo interior parts without total dis-assembly is to take a look at the big end of the rods (you still need to take off the oil pan). Compared to the N/A rods, it is pretty easy to see the difference.
