I need help fast, my booster is not boosting very well and this is my DD. I bought every thing new and got it all layed out for the install and am now realizing there is nothing between the booster and the MC. When you order a reman unit you dont get the pushrod? Now that I am aware of it I am noticing it is all the pics of the reman units.

I know some people did it this route with all new stuff. What did you do? It doesn't look like an available part?

One thing I thought of is I heard these boosters were common to astrovans too? I wonder if that rod is the same. This is so wack!

I called the ford dealer and they didnt see an individual listing. Anybody know if there is a PN?

THX, ican. I have been researching this for the past few hours. I read about them on another forum and heard they want over $100 for the rod spring and retainer, just hearsay so who knows. I can spend $240 and get the ford unit with the rod included. I think I paid $160 for the reman.

I think my best bet to get this done by this weekend the astro van will be my hope. I will just buy the whole unit and get the rod out of it and get my $30 core charge back. I read all the hydros are 1 bendix design so I feel like its a good bet it will work.

ya think?
