Obs column shifter replacement?

Can the shifter be replaced in an obs without swapping the whole steering column?

it's a modular system on a OBS. unbolt 4 bolts, remove cable and go.

Easy peasy. Column drop and access to the lower retainer bolts are right there. Good time to swap the shifter bushings then too.

An FYI...that column shifter is also same style used in Aerostar vans and I recon a few other vehicles.

The attachment point of cable...a sheet metal bracket is different but rest of column same.
