i just watched a guy drive away in the old rusty diesel 15mins ago. i know how it feels to lose something you care about. My dad said the truck wasn't drivable but the guy took her out there and she sounded perfect. i actually dropped a tear or two watching her leave.:(

Does anybody know of a idi for sale around northern kentucky. would love to find another turbo 4x4. but any would do fine.

I don't think I could sell any vehicle I'm attached to... I still have my first one, 14 years later, and I still have yet to so much as even put a dent in the 'ol girl... And it's my wheeling truck now... LOL

That always hurts. But, hopefully you can find another one. Are you still coming to the Rally? I've come to two Rallies without my IDI. We'd just be glad to have you there.;Sweet

Having experienced both heartbreak and death of a loved one, I would say the feeling is closer to a death than heartbreak. Heartbreak can include feelings of betrayal and anger. Death is just a void. An emptiness in the pit of your stomach. A sense of loss that can never be recovered. It feels weird either way. Not a normal daily emotion.

I have a 86' standard cab F-350 dually NA with a gooseneck hitch I'm looking to get $1800 for.

yeah i see what your saying.

i've decided to work my way up by buying trucks, fixing them up, and selling them. About to get a 1993 Chevy k1500 4x4 5spd with a knocking 305 for $600.

I'd be losing money at that price.

if you put a bunch of money into these trucks and expect to sell it and get your money back you better think twice..... its still that old and still has that many miles on it....

+1.
Or if there's something truly special about the truck that makes it a special build. But with those, the customers are not easy to find.

that's what sucks about these trucks, only very few of us know what they are worth.
