The glass fuel filter you can see and wash out the rust with WD-40 and air hose before they get plug. Now it going to become part of regular service until I replace both tanks with plastic ones. And thank you Big Bart  for sending me to the right location "(4) A long shot but if you hit the tank switch it might of gotten stuck between tanks)".
Glad I was able to help out!

I got a Carter electric diesel fuel pump in Nov 2017. I notice when I ran the pump it was advancing the timing to much ( Heating Issue) and so put in a fuel pressure regulator in still to much on advancing the timing. I put the regular pump back in service but left the carter in place so I could hit the switch for big hills with heavy loads. I like the black smoke just before I crest the top. I was using the pump when priming the fuel filter but with a rust pugged line got a no start condition. I am using the Holly Glass filters now on gas tank lines heading to tank switching station so I can keep my eye on the rust coming from tanks.
