looking to trade a very nice 1988 Ford 1 ton dually. I have owned for about a year looking for a SRW 3/4 or 1 ton 4X4.

A little about the truck
actual mileage is unknown do to the 5 digit odometer
front tires are new
rear tires would probly make it throught the winter but will need replaced
4WD works excellent
motor is a 7.3 liter diesel with a banks turbo kit
trans has a gear vendors overdrive system
interior has the centurian convertion
locking rear diff diamond tread tool box goose neck hitch
plus more

please remember that this is not a new vehicle it is 22 years old

the body is starting to rust as seen in the pics
does leak some oil about 1/2 a quart in a oil change
interior is showing some wear has A/C but not working

lol yeah.iv notice a lot of crew cab guys here.
harder to heat,harder to cool,harder to maneuver.
there must be a lot of business owners with crews,and or interstate/5ver haulers with fams on this site i take it.

this supercab dually 4wd looks pretty good for the $.miles unknown though.careful guys.them gem's become money pits often.

A good place for baggage when traveling-easier to sleep in if necessary-carries children as well as a car.
And a big member proven use - is the rear seat area makes a good "spare parts room" ,ask Gary

I agree, then I have the ultimate Crew Cab, it seats 8...... the only problem is the topper does not come off.....

I would not own anything but a CC or an EX......

X 2. I have the Reg cab for my daily driver. The crew cab is for when I travel anywhere with the family, the guys (going to the races, fights, whatever), or any trip that I need to carry extra crap that I don't want out in the weather.

Really.... I have been selling these trucks for 10 years and never once have I heard a customer say...No CC for me,..I want a reg cab cause it is easier to heat,... No doubt they are harder to maneuver but you don't buy them for a grocery getter, and you plan on parking out a ways.

I went from an ex cab to a CC when my kids hit over 5' tall, No room in the back of an Ex Cab for the kids. I really never noticed a difference in turning between the ex cab to the CC, and the extra room is great.

So whatever works for you, go for it...I will stick with my CC,..

I do own a reg cab also, but it is my plow truck.

I have often looked at CCs but keep coming back to reality, I am the only one driving it, no need for a lot of extra room. My wife doesn't even like to ride with me, so for the guys who need them and have them, good for you. I live in an area where lots of people buy big or off road stuff just to have it, not to use it. I have no problem passing on the CCs to let someone else buy it to use, rather than show off.

There is one guy down the street who has a F700 or something huge like that, jacked up to the sky and an 8 foot pickup bed on it. Even has a train horn on it to scare the girls. Pulls a ski boat about twice a year, never gets dirty. Just showing off.

Yup Droopy, No way I would plow my car lot with a CrewCab!

Ron has done a ton of work on it for me and he does a great job, New paint, motor swap, ect, so hopefully he wont be seeing again for a long time,..Unless I decide to turn it int a Diesel.

Right now it is a 88 F250 with a rebuilt 30 over 5.0, towing rv cam, K&N Intake, headers, 3" duals, 5sp, 3:55 LS 33" BFG's on Alcoas, Tool Box, Headache Rack, 3G alt, Dual Batteries, etc,...

Its a pretty good ole plow truck:
